Corporate Council memberships are extremely important to the continuing success of the Center and our mission. We offer our corporate partners an opportunity to make a difference in the community, from school age children to life-long learners with a passion for history and culture. The Council supports the following activities: Each year the Center places free exhibits in public and univerity libraries, the San Diego International Airport and other public venues, where they are seen by over 1,700,000 people. As Regional Administrator of Project Archaeology, the Center engages over 1,800 students and teachers each year in the science-based curriculum designed to provide a basic understanding and appreciation for archaeology and our region's cultural legacy. The Center's Annual Excellence in Archaeology Awards recognize outstanding archaeological collections curated at the Center that represent excellence in education, cultural heritage and scientific research. Four times each year the Center mails over 2,000 copies of its newsletter to supporters, elected officials, and organizations. Twelve 'Second Saturday' programs are held throughout the year, providing public workshops and lectures on a variety of topics unique to the rich cultural heritage of San Diego County as well as topics of evolving interest. Support of key corporate partners provides funding for these and other Center activities and programs. The Center's Corporate Council Membership program is an excellent opportunity to reach Center membership. Memberships at or above the $1,000 level will be listed on the Center's website with a short company description and a link to your website. We look forward to establishing a mutually beneficial relationship with you, and we thank you for your support.
