PROJECT ARCHAEOLOGY
GPS ACTIVITIES AND LESSONS

Imagine harnessing the power of 12 of the 24 satellites located 12,500 miles above the earth.

The Center believes that the integration of GPS lessons and mapping technology will produce students who engage in a collaborative effort to complete hands-on and inquiry based activities.
Students who learn to use GPS and mapping technology will gain a set of highly desirable skills in business, government and industry.
All lessons follow California State grade-level content standards and the newly implemented Education and the Environment Initiative (EEI)

History
